FALAS PÚBLICAS

"MONOCULTURE OF AFFECTIONS AND THE ISSUE OF CARE" – Geni Nunez

Colonization has not ended, it continues, updating itself in the relations of exploitation of different territories. Understanding our body as part of this territory and also as a target of colonial invasions and the expropriation of autonomy and health, at this meeting we will talk about the monoculture of affections and its effects on the production of a single way of being in the world, especially in relationships of care provided by mothers. Just as the earth needs rest, as it is alive, but is exploited and exhausted at all times, we will have key questions: how time is articulated with the coloniality of affections, with the (lack of) redistribution of work and the subtraction of the pleasure and health of certain subjects? The reflections will be guided by the perspective of reforesting the imagination and its challenges.

“WHAT'S HAPPENING TO THE MOMS?" – Ana Thomaz

At a time when neurosis is normalized as a way of life, revealing our disconnections with the nature of life, mothers experience the conflict of reuniting with nature through motherhood and the requirement to maintain neurotic social relationships, ideas and ideals. What's happening to the mothers? will be the central question for this public speech. Ana Thomaz is an Alexander Technique teacher, initiator of community processes, mother of three unschooled daughters and son

                  LESBIAN MOTHERHOOD – Alessandra Ayabá

Third public speech by the MAMA SY YIÁ project. This time with Alessandra Ayabá and Aline Brito (@_alinexu @mama.aya__) from Maternidade Sapatão (@pmaternidadesapatao) to share their experiences about black, lesbian, possible and "da quebrada" (from the hood) motherhood.

                TRANS MOTHERHOOD – Isis Broken

In this public speech, Isis Broken shares with the public the experience of a trans pregnancy: lack of access to the public health network, violence and transphobia, shared breastfeeding, affirmation of motherhood, among other challenges reinforced by an exclusionary society.
